Loten Dahortsang
Loten Dahortsang was born in Lhasa, Tibet, in 1968. His path within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition began at an early age. Since 1982, he has lived and studied at the Tibet Institute Rikon in Switzerland, where he received training from distinguished Tibetan teachers. His further studies took him to Sera Monastic University in South India and included intensive study and meditation practice within the Kalachakra tradition.
For many years, Loten has taught Buddhism and meditation at the Tibet Institute Rikon and at Buddhist centers throughout Europe. He also contributes to the training of meditation teachers and teaches traditional Tibetan practices including Lu Jong and Tsa Lung.
At Mahakasha, Loten joins us as a valued guest teacher and meditation teacher. Through his meditation sessions, he creates a calm and open space for mindfulness, inner reflection and conscious experience.
